Christopher Johnson

Christopher JohnsonChristopher Johnson is an entrepreneur, making technology accessible and useful for growing companies and organizations. He's the Co-Founder and CEO of ifPeople, an Atlanta-based company that provides strategic consulting and implementation of integrated web tools for websites, email marketing, social media, and relationship management.

Christopher combines a passion for problem solving, a systems perspective and a decade of international experience in order to turn today's challenges into opportunities to create a more just, sustainable world. Though not a developer, he has learned to speak their language and work collaboratively with them through the Open Source movement.
Christopher is an active member of the Plone community and was selected to be a member of the Plone Foundation in 2008. He organizes an open source project for ecommerce in Plone called GetPaid, is a host for the Atlanta Plone User Group, and participates in Plone-Salesforce.com integration projects.

Christopher has lived on six continents and frequently presents at conferences in both English and Spanish. He is known for his leadership and facilitation skills, yerba mate, and a mean cook of fried green tomatoes. He has a son, Alon, who serves as his Junior Officer of Keepin' It Real (aka JOKeR).

Christopher graduated cum laude with a degree in physics from Rice University in Houston, Texas, where he also studied environmental policy, law, and engineering.
