Dries Buytaert is an innovator. Dries developed Drupal while he was a college student, and opened the code, creating a community of supporters and contributors which continues to rapidly expand to this day.
What started nine years ago as a simple bulletin board solution for a college dorm is now powering the official website at the White House. Not bad for humble beginnings.
We are very fortunate to welcome Dries Buytaert to CMS Expo. His story is sure to inspire others to innovate, build strong community connections, and create the next generation's solutions.
At the 2010 CMS Expo in Chicago, Dries was a Keynote Speaker, and discussed the future Roadmap of Drupal, including Drupal 7, which lauched this year.
His firm, Acquia, returns once again as a Drupal Track Sponsor of the CMS Expo Learning & Business Conference.
Dries returns to CMS Expo in Chicago in 2011 to share his insights as on the Founders Panel Monday morning. He'll deliver a keynote address on Tuesdya, May 3rd, and share his vision for Drupal 8 and beyond at the Monday Night Meetup on May 2nd.
