Barb Ackemann is the Founder and Lead Developer at IrisLines, LLC. She is also an Adjunct Faculty member, Marlboro College Graduate School.
As a student at the Marlboro College Graduate School, Barb won the President’s Award for her capstone project in 2006 - a Joomla 1.0 site. Since then, she’s been instructing the Designing with Web Standards course at Marlboro College Graduate School.
Barb's been teaching colleagues and students about technology for over 20 years. Prior to launching her own web developent firm, IrisLines Designs, Barb was a teacher, librarian and computer coordinator in public schools of southern Vermont.
A presenter at Joomla! Day New England events and active member in the Joomla! New England User Group, Barb lives in Brattleboro, Vermont.
Barb presented two sessions at the 2010 CMS Expo on Joomla! Template Design.
At the 2011 CMS Expo in Chicago, Barb will present Joomla! Template Design 1 and Joomla! Template Design 2.
