Albert Einstein

I'm very happy to announce the theme for the 2010 CMS Expo is "The Intutive Mind." So often in the Content Management world, we hear or read the words "Content Is King," yet those dispensing the advice so rarely follow it. They so rarely value content, creativity and innovation.

We've been studying Search Engine Optimization ad nauseum for over ten years now, and what do the top experts recommend we do to produce the best results for our web rankings? Oh sure, there are the obligatory landing pages, repetitive use of certain keywords and plenty of linking strategies we can and should follow; but at the end of the day, the #1 recommondation is simply, "create new content, and do it regularly, in order to keep people coming back." Ironic, ain't it? The rational mind has to remind us of the very gift we're trying to avoid unwrapping and using!

The intuitive mind needs more exercise, and that's precisely what we're going to do at CMS Expo next May. What makes CMS Expo unique is that you'll not only hear from experts on the System-side of CMS to train on rudiments and advanced technical skills, but you'll also get to experience insights and advice from many innovators. At CMS Expo, content not only "king;" it's the most important common ground we all share in the CMS community.

Attendees will get to experience being part of the innovation and creative process itself.

The "Intuitive Mind" is indeed the sacred gift; so we'll be hosting sessions on creating and producing the content itself - the writing, visuals, video, audio, documents and more.

Stay tuned. There's much more to come on this!
