Q:What are the dates of 2013 CMS Expo?
A: May 14-16, 2013 with a kickoff event of Meetup Monday Night on Monday, May 13th.

Q:Where is the 2013 CMS Expo being held?
A: Hilton Orrington Hotel, Evanston, IL (just down the Lake Michigan waterfront from Chicago) Visit Venue and directions page.

Monday, May 13, 2013:
7:30 pm -9:00 pm: Meetup Monday Night in the Conference Center, Hotel Orrington, 9th floor. Free and open to the public. Must register to attend. Registration opens February 1, 2013.

Q:What is the “dress code” at CMS Expo?
A: Business casual is the typical dress for all events and learning sessions at CMS Expo.

Q:Is there a place I can work if I need to, while I'm at the conference?
A: Yes, we have a Quiet Work Room that has wireless, phone, fax and other office amenities. It is located at the far end of the 9th floor hallway.

Q:Where can I stay?
A: Hotel Orrington is offering a special for the CMS Expo attendees of $149 per night. Visit the Venue page more information. There is also a Best Western and a Hilton Gardens within walking distance.

Q:How much is registration?
A: A one day pass is $299, a 3-Day Pass is $799. An Expo Only Pass is $35. More pricing and options information here.

Q:Are there any discounts?
A: Early Bird Discount will be available until October 31, 2013 (3-day Pass for $599). Several of the Showcase CMSs and Sponsors of CMS Expo often offer discounts on 3-Day Passes. Check the websites of our sponsors and/or Showcase CMSs to see discount offers! Enter the discount code in the "Discount Code" box on the registration form to recieve the discount. Q:How do I register?
A: Go to: www.CMSExpo.com and click on the “Register” button on the front page or go directly to: http://www.cmsexpo.net/register. You can pay via PayPal or credit card (via PayPal online). You can also call 888-804-9525 and make your registration over the phone.

Q:Is my registration information and payment information secure?
A: Yes! All registration info is secure and your information is kept confidental according to our Privacy Policy. Your payment information is on the secure server for PayPal. If your information is called in, the information is shredded once the conference has ended.

Q:What if I need to register more than one person?
A: You can either go through the registration process for each person or you can call and register as many attendees as you need to at one time (888-804-9525).

Q:Can I pay by credit card?
A: Yes, you can pay by credit card by clicking on the "continue" link on the Paypal screen and it will process your credit card without having a PayPal account. Or you can call in your registration and pay by credit card over the phone (888-804-9525).

Q:Can you invoice my organization for my registration?
A: Yes, just contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and an invoice will be generated and sent to your organization with a copy sent to you. **Please note, registrations are not confirmed until payment is recieved in full.

Q:What does registration include?
A: Each registration includes breakfast, lunch and snacks each day (dinner is on your own). Registration includes over 80+ learning sessions, access to socials each evening, keynotes, special events, business networking, CMSA Spotlight Award Celebration and the exhibitor booths. From Chicago:
The CTA: Elevated Rapid Transit Train (the "EL") purple line to Davis Street. Three blocks east to Hotel Orrington. NOTE: The "Evanston Express" Purple line runs from the Chicago Loop during weekdays at rush hours. At non-rush hour times, take the Red line north to Howard Street. Transfer to the Purple line (same platform). Use the handy CTA Trip Planner Tool.

METRA Commuter Railroad: North Line from Northwestern Station to Davis Street. 3 1⁄2 blocks east to Hotel Orrington. NOTE: If arriving in Chicago via Amtrak. Disembark at Union Station. Exit Union Station and cross street to Northwestern Station.

Airport: O'Hare Airport is the closest airport. Transportation from the airport to Evanston: Airport Express: Shared van service departs O'Hare every 20 minutes between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM. Upon arrival at O'Hare, see ticket agents in baggage claim areas 1E, and 3E and ask for a suburban shuttle. Cost is approximately $31.00 per person and $54.00 round trip. Driving: From Chicago and South: North on Lake Shore Drive to its end at Hollywood. Right onto Sheridan Road. Continue north into Evanston. (There are many turns. Watch for Sheridan Road signs). Left on Dempster Street to Chicago Avenue. Right on Chicago; four blocks to Davis Street. Left on Davis. One block to Orrington Avenue. Right on Orrington. 1-1⁄2 blocks to Hotel Orrington on left. From Milwaukee and North: Take I-94 East to Dempster - EAST exit. Dempster into Evanston. Turn left on McCormick Blvd and right on Church Street. Q: What kind of sponsorships do you offer?

Q:Can I just be an exhibitor?
A: Yes. There are two sizes for Exhibitors, a 6' table size and a 4' x 4' size. For more information, please submit a Sponsorship Inquiry.

Q: What is the CMS Connection?
A: The CMS Connection is both a directory of CMS and Web professionals and it is also an online community where current and past participants of CMS Expo can connect, ask questions, discuss upcoming sessions, etc.

Q: Can I access or join the CMS Connection?
A: The directory section of the CMS Connection is accessible and free to everyone. However, in order to be listed in the directory, you must be or have been a speaker or sponsor of CMS Expo. The Community section of the CMS Connection is also free but is only available to current or past participants of CMS Expo. Once you are registered for CMS Expo, you will recieve your login information.

Q: When does the CMSA Spotlight Award Submissions open?
March 15, 2013.

Q: May I submit an entry if I don’t own it or did not create it?
A: Yes, but you must have permission from the Entrant to submit them, or their work.

Q: How much does it cost to submit an entry?
A: Entries are $10 per submission, payable online via credit card or Paypal.

Q: What's the Submission deadline?
All submissions are due by midnight on April 20, 2013.
