Every year, CMS Expo puts out the call to all current and past attendees, speakers, sponsors and participants to take a little smidge of time out of their (your) busy day or night to cross-promote, help promote CMS Expo and your favorite CMS at the same time. Like many grass-roots user-driven conferences, CMS Expo doesn't have a huge advertising budget. That cost savings is a big reason we're able to keep our pricing for attendees as well as growing businesses and organizations affordable, year after yeat. For part of CMSX's marketing efforts, it truly comes down to the fans of featured CMSes to help spread the news via all available means.
Here's on simple idea that works: Click on the images to the left to download a PDF. Then either share the PDF or print up fliers and posters, and put them up at your place of work. It's an easy, non-intrusive, non-spammy way to get the word out, without tying up a lot of your time (or ink). We've got fliers (4.5" x 11"), Faxable Sign-up Forms (8.5" x 11") and Posters (11" x 17").
We encourage you to tie this into your own potential income stream by signing up for our CMSA Referral Rewards Program too; it's an affiliate program which pays you back 10% for anyone you sign up! Plus you get entered automatically to earn additional swell gifts and prizes (like, big prizes, not the kind you pass off to your nephew or neighbor kid).
We believe in investing in the folks who invest in CMS Expo! Speakers, sponsors, attendees - you're all invited to participate! Just make sure when folks sign up with the printable/faxable flier, they mention your name (you could write it in ahead of time, to make sure).
